1. General
These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all purchases made through Hést’s online store. Consumer purchases are governed, inter alia, by the Consumer Purchases Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act, the Marketing Control Act, the Personal Data Act, the E-Commerce Act, and the Credit Purchases Act. These laws are available at lovdata.no.
By accessing the website and/or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Hést reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version applicable to your purchase shall be the version in force and published on the website at the time the order is placed.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions, and any purchases made under them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.

In these Terms and Conditions, the Seller may be referred to as “Hést,” “heest.no,” “the Website,” “the Seller,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
Buyer
The Buyer is the consumer placing the order. In these Terms and Conditions, the Buyer may be referred to as “the Buyer,” “the Customer,” “you,” “your,” or “recipient.”
3. Prices and Terms
The prices displayed on the website apply at the time of ordering. Prices are shown in the following currencies depending on the country of purchase: NOK (Norway), EUR (EU countries), DKK (Denmark), SEK (Sweden), and USD (USA and other countries). Prices include value-added tax (VAT) where applicable under current regulations (in Norway, the standard rate is currently 25%). Changes in VAT rates after the date of purchase may result in price adjustments without prior notice.
Shipping costs are not included in the product price and will be calculated at checkout in accordance with our shipping policy.
In the event of obvious pricing errors caused by technical or human error, Hést reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid.
Payment can be made using the payment methods available on the website at the time of purchase.
4. Purchase and Customer Information
To complete a purchase, you must accept these Terms and Conditions. By accepting the Terms and Conditions, you confirm that you will comply with them, and that you consent to Hést’s processing of personal data as well as the use of cookies.
The purchase agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions is deemed concluded once Hést confirms the order in writing to the email address you have provided (order confirmation). We recommend that you retain the order confirmation for any future inquiries to Hést’s customer service. The agreement covers payment and delivery for the relevant order. Once the goods have been delivered and payment completed, the Buyer has no further payment obligations. The Terms and Conditions shall, however, continue to apply to the purchased goods.
If Hést is unable to fulfill the order for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible. If payment has already been received, the amount will be refunded using the same payment method applied at the time of purchase, where possible.
Hést aims to issue an order confirmation no later than 24 hours after the order has been received. For orders placed on Fridays, public holidays, or weekends, confirmation may take longer; in such cases, we aim to send confirmation no later than 16:00 on the following business day. All orders must be placed through the website.
The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the information provided at the time of purchase is accurate and complete and shall be liable for any consequences arising from incorrect information. Information regarding Hést’s processing of personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.
5. Delivery Time and Shipping Policy
Products are normally delivered within 2–5 business days.
During peak seasons (e.g. Christmas), delivery times may be longer. The delivery time is calculated from the date you receive your order confirmation. The stated delivery time is indicative only; Hést cannot guarantee delivery within the specified time, as unforeseen delays may occur either with us or with the carrier (Bring and DHL).
If the package is delivered to a “Post i Butikk” service point, the Buyer must collect the package in person and present valid identification along with the order number. If a representative collects the package on your behalf, both your and the representative’s identification must be presented. You will be notified of where and when your package can be collected via the Posten app, email, and – if a mobile number has been provided – SMS.
The collection deadline for packages delivered to “Post i Butikk” and parcel lockers is 7 days. The Buyer may request an extension of the collection deadline from 7 to 14 days free of charge via the Posten app.
For packages that are not collected within the deadline, Hést reserves the right to charge a fee of NOK 79 to cover return shipping and handling costs.
If the package is visibly damaged upon delivery, it should not be collected. Please contact Hést customer service instead, and we will either send a replacement item or issue a refund.
Shipping Costs:
Free shipping on Norwegian orders over NOK 2,500.
For international orders, a shipping fee of NOK 150 applies.
For Norwegian orders under NOK 2,500, a shipping fee of NOK 79 applies. For international orders, the shipping fee is NOK 150.

6. Payment and Acceptance of Terms
The Buyer shall pay for the order through Hést’s payment service partners, currently Adyen (www.adyen.com). Adyen may be contacted via their customer service center at https://www.adyen.com/contact.
Hést offers the following secure payment methods:
Card Payment: Payment by credit or debit card. The amount will be charged on the same day the order is placed.
Klarna Invoice: Up to 30 days’ payment term. The invoice will be sent by email when the package is dispatched.
Klarna Installments: Offered as a separate option at checkout. The invoice will be sent to the email address provided at the time of order.
Hést never has access to your card details and can therefore neither register nor store card information.
7. Right of Withdrawal
When purchasing through the online store, you as a customer always have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date the goods are received, in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act. To exercise this right, the product must be returned in its original condition.
7.1 When the Right of Withdrawal Does Not Apply
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
a) Goods produced according to the customer’s specifications or otherwise given a personal character (e.g., products with print or embroidery).
b) Goods with broken seals that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons (e.g., swimwear).
7.2 How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
Returns within Norway:
For returns shipped from Norway, you must use Posten Bring. Please use the following link to order a return label.
Enter the return code Hest1671, your address, and your order number under “reference.” Then click “Create return label,” print it out, and affix it securely to the package.
Return the package by delivering it to your nearest Posten/Post-i-butikk location, or place it in a public red mailbox if the package fits. Please note that returns must be sent via Posten/Bring; returns sent with PostNord or MyPack will not be accepted. The risk and responsibility for the package remain with the customer until the return is received by us. We therefore recommend using tracked shipping.
Important: If you chose DHL Express for domestic delivery within Norway, you must return the goods via Posten Bring.
Returns from abroad:
For international returns, please use the return label included with your package and deliver the parcel to your nearest DHL drop-off point. If no return label was included, please contact us at kontakt@heest.no and we will assist you.
Goods must be returned no later than 14 days after receipt. They must be unused, in their original packaging, with all tags attached, and free from odors or other marks. If the original packaging is damaged, the product may be considered used, and Hést reserves the right to make a deduction for any reduction in value.
When exercising the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the condition of the goods after receipt and during return shipping. If you use the prepaid return label provided by Hést, a return shipping fee of NOK 79 will be deducted from your refund. If you choose another shipping method than that offered by Hést, you must cover the shipping cost and bear the risk during transport.
Hést does not reimburse shipping costs if the return is sent via any method other than Posten (for Norwegian orders) or the DHL return label (for international orders).
7.3 Refunds
When the right of withdrawal is exercised and the return is approved, the purchase amount will be refunded via Adyen/Klarna using the same payment method as used at the time of purchase (with deduction of return shipping costs if you used the prepaid return label).
Refunds will be processed as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after Hést has approved the return.
8. Right of Exchange
You are entitled to exchange an item purchased from Hést in accordance with the right of withdrawal (section 7) within 14 days after you or your representative received the item.
Return shipping for exchanges is free of charge provided that you place a new order and use the return label available via the provided link, or the return label included from DHL (for international orders). Refunds will only be issued once Hést has received, registered, and approved the returned item.
The right of exchange does not apply to:
a) Goods with broken seals that cannot be exchanged for health or hygiene reasons (e.g., bikinis).
9. Claims and Warranty
We strive to present product characteristics, including composition and colors, as accurately as possible in our online store. Please note, however, that colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Hést inspects all items prior to shipment. If, despite this, an item is damaged or defective upon receipt, you may file a claim in accordance with the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act. A valid claim requires proof of purchase, and we therefore recommend that you keep your order confirmation and payment reference.
The right to claim only covers original defects and does not apply to normal wear and tear. Claims must be submitted within a reasonable time and no later than two months after the defect was discovered. In total, you may file a claim for up to two years after receipt, or five years if the product is intended to last substantially longer.
If the product has a defect not caused by you, you are entitled under law to request repair, replacement, a price reduction, termination of the purchase, or compensation. Hést reserves the right to first attempt repair or replacement.
When filing a claim, the enclosed return label must be used. If you do not have a return label, please contact customer service to obtain one. Use of this label ensures that shipping costs are covered by Hést. Shipping costs incurred through alternative return methods will not be reimbursed.
All claims must be submitted in writing to customer service and include both a description and photographic documentation of the defect.

10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude Hést’s liability where such limitation or exclusion would be unlawful under applicable law.
Hést shall not be liable for any indirect losses, including but not limited to loss of income or business opportunities. Nor shall we be liable for failure to deliver or perform our obligations where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, flood, strike, war, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
Hést’s maximum aggregate liability for any loss or damage arising in connection with an order shall be limited to the total amount paid for the relevant order.
11. Website Content, Copyright, and Intellectual Property Rights
Hést reserves the right to disclaim any typographical or image errors on the website. All intellectual property rights, including trademarks and copyrights, are owned by Hést or its licensors. The content is protected under copyright, marketing, and trademark laws.
It is not permitted to copy or use all or parts of the content for commercial purposes without Hést’s prior written consent. Private and non-commercial use is permitted.
12. Assignment
Hést reserves the right to assign or pledge claims for payment, including installment payments, arising in connection with the delivery of goods.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid by a court or supervisory authority, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
14. Disputes
Disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Norwegian law and resolved by the Norwegian courts.
If you wish to file a complaint regarding a product, you must follow the claims procedure set out in section 9. Hést will review the complaint and provide you with a response. If you are not satisfied with our decision, you as a consumer may escalate the matter to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet). We will comply with decisions made by the Norwegian Consumer Authority.
